Teeth Whitening for Sensitive Teeth

Tuesday, February 27, 2018

I am so excited to let you guys in on my little teeth whitening secret! For the past couple of weeks, I have been whitening at home with Smile Brilliant. At first, I was a little hesitant, I wasn't sure if whitening at home was exactly safe for my teeth. After reading up on Smile Brilliant, I soon learned that this was a very great option and a very safe product, which I have fallen in love with. Smile Brilliant's whitening system is EXACTLY what you would get at the dentist - My mother said that it even looked like what she received at the dentist and was very impressed with my results.

The reason I was so excited to try Smile Brilliant is because (as most of you know) I am a huge coffee & wine lover!! It's no secret that both of those things cause stubborn teeth staining, but I just can't give them up. Smile Brilliant molds to your teeth and you can whiten on the go without anyone really noticing.

When you first get your package, you'll notice two blue impression trays and paste to create your custom-fitted trays. Once you've created your moldings/impressions, you will mail them into SB, where they create your individual trays. I have never found another whitening system that fits like these do. It does not matter if you have straight or crooked teeth, their process works for everyone.

Like said before, these trays are very thin and fit perfectly to your teeth, so you can whiten any time that you want. I'd have to say that I whiten most while driving or while working from home (which I've been doing a lot of lately). All you do is put a thin strip of the whitening gel on both teeth trays and then place them on your teeth- no light necessary. You may whiten for up to 3 hours a day and will see results almost instantly.

SB provides desensitizing gel to use after whitening to help keep stains away and help with any sensitivity that comes with whitening

Sensitivity is completely normal and it is recommended that you lower your whitening time if it becomes an issue for you. Per SB's FAQ sheet, enamel is considered the hardest tissue in the human body and will not be damaged by SB's whitening process.
