Summer Skincare Roundup

Saturday, July 7, 2018

I've tried a couple new products lately that I have absolutely loved. It's crazy how different my skin is with each season- throw pregnancy in the mix, and it's even crazier. Here are a few products that I have found to be great for my skin this Summer and throughout my pregnancy so far (Of course if you are pregnant, please consult with your doctor if you are wondering which skincare products are safe for you to use). This is not in any way a sponsored/paid post, just FYI.

First up, RDKL. I've actually been doing a little work with RDKL. They are a newer brand with some super great products that I've enjoyed mixing into my daily routine. They use botanical ingredients, to name a few: Aloe vera, vitamin E, avocado oil.  Not only do I love their products, but I love their presentation & packaging (so insta worthy). You'll probably see me post more about RDKL in the upcoming months, so be on the look out for that. In the mean time, check out their website and read about their products here

I did a full blog post on Vii Code's over night eye masks, and you can read it here
There you will also find my discount code for $5 off site-wide.

I recently did 2 campaigns with REN showing my before and afters. I was surprised at how quickly this face mask corrected redness and blemishes. My skin has been super sensitive to every little thing lately and this rescue mask has work wonders for me. REN Clean Skincare is currently having a 50% off sale on select products. I do not think the rescue mask is included, but I do see some cleansers and serums that I really want to try. Check out the 50% off sale here. Shop the Evercalm Rescue Mask here.

The FOREO Luna Mini is by far my favorite. I was gifted this little guy from Fab Fit Fun and have used it every day since I got it in the mail. It's rechargeable which is great. I haven't had to charge it that often, which is also great. It has different modes of vibration and different ridges for cleaning and helping with fine lines. It's 100% waterproof, so I just keep mine in the shower. It's tiny enough to carry in any overnight bag, on the go. Shop the Luna Mini here

I've recommended this Organic Skincare Doctor overnight cream to so many people lately. I've had a lot of questions regarding what skincare products I've been using (hints the reason for this post). I always say, the less ingredients, the better. I typically wont use any skincare product unless it has all natural ingredients in it. This cream in particular has coconut oil, aloe vera (always a fav.) and vitamin E, just to name a few. This night cream can be a little pricey at your local pharmacy, but I've found it here on Amazon for only $16. I love how I can use a little dab for my entire face, a little goes a long way, therefore it lasts a long time.

Ahava's Purifying Dead Sea Mud Mask- can be found here on Amazon, for a pretty decent price. I love all Ahava products, including their bath salts. This mud mask has helped tremendously with the terrible hormonal acne I've been experiencing.

Rosebud Salve!! I LOVE this stuff. It tastes like roses and has honestly healed my lips, from peeling to sunburns. It does not have sunscreen in it, so do not replace your sunscreen with this. However, it does help soothe sunburn and rehydrate your lips. I bought this container months ago and still have a ton left. I got mine from Sephora, but found it here on Amazon for around the same price.

I've posted about Dr Jart+'s Cicapair Tiger Grass Re.Pair Serum before, but I will post about it over and over again. This is one of my favorite serums. It feels so refreshing on your face and helps reduce redness and wrinkles. Found on amazon for $45 here.

Supergoop & Coola make some pretty awesome setting sprays with SPF in them. I use these religiously in the summer. I don't necessarily like one over the other, they're both pretty great. Beach, lake and pool approved. They are both mists, so a quick and easy spray or two does the trick. I typically don't have to reapply, but of course everyone is different.

Tula is one product that I get the most DMs and questions about. I have a TON of their products and love each and every one of them. I use the face cleanser everyday. It comes in a large size or small travel size. I also have the hand cream, the face cream, the oil cleanser, face mask, etc. Overall, Tula is a GREAT brand with all natural products. I've used Tula the most during pregnancy because I actually feel safe using it. I've emailed them for a discount code for my readers, but have yet to hear back (lol) at least I can say I tried. If I hear back, I will def. post on my social channels ASAP for yall to use. In the mean time, you can shop their products here.

Lastly, these Almay makeup remover face wipes. I've been using these a lot lately with this pregnancy. I literally can't keep my eyes open to save my life, so these are great when I'm too tired to wash my face at night. These wipes leave your face feeling hydrated and soothed, and are gentle on the eyes. They remove all my make up, including eye make up. You can shop them here.
