31 Week Bumpdate w| Baby No. 2

Wednesday, March 24, 2021

Ahhh, we are SO CLOSE! I am 31 and 1/2 weeks today, so only 8.5 weeks to go. My stomach has REALLY popped, so I know baby has put on some pounds the last 2 weeks or so. We went and got the 3D/4D images at 29 weeks and she was just precious as can be. I am so excited to have her in my arms, and see what she looks like, and get to know her little personality. I can already see huge similarities between her and Sawyer (looks wise), but can also see a lot of differences. This baby really reminds me of my newborn photos and my dad. Sawyer looks more like me as a toddler.

Now that its crunch time, I'm really trying to get in all the pictures, the kicking videos and things I know I will want to look back on. I never realized how important stuff like that was until I wasn't pregnant with Sawyer anymore, and that was literally all I had to remember it. I've really slacked on a lot of things this pregnancy, i.e belly creams, pictures, videos, but I'm doing the best I can with a toddler.

Sawyer will be exactly 2 years and 5 months apart from this little one. I don't know if I want to be pregnant with a 2 year old again, haha. Maybe next time around (God willing that there be a next time) we will have them closer together.

At my 29 week appointment I did the glucose test and got my tdap vaccine. I passed the glucose, but had a horrible delayed reaction to the tdap vaccine. My arm is still hurting to this day. My doctor wants me to do physically therapy, but that just adds more to my plate that I literally do NOT have time for. Apparently this is just a rare occurrence that can happen when the needle goes in the muscle wrong (?) one of the nurses at my doctors office had it happen to her, I'm not sure if it ever got 100% better, I never asked, but I am hoping this is not something that I will have to deal with for a long period of time. I'm just now able to somewhat sleep on my left side again, it's still painful, but its do able. All that to say that I haven't been sleeping well at night. Between my arm, hips and acid reflux.

Major cravings: sweets, sweet tea, muffins, cookies, brownies, pancakes, coffee, anything absolutely horrible.
Symptoms: acid reflux anytime I lay down or bend over. Hip pain/ tailbone pain hasn't been as bad but it is still there at night. It's getting hard to get up off the couch or out of bed. Hard to bend over or really do anything because the tummy is in the way. My arm pain has honestly been the worst part of the pregnancy so far and that's not even technically pregnancy related, that's vaccine related. Baby is moving like crazy all hours of the night so sleep is on and off. I am now waking at least 3x a night to pee, lol.

Well, the count down is on..
I'll have a post up soon on my hospital bag (it'll look a lot different this time around!) so be on the look out for that, if you're interested! I packed way too much last time, so this will mainly be things I used and know I will need.

Xx,

LeAnne
